Re: Problem booting from cdrom

Hi,

thanx for the reply ... ive even tried resetting the PRAM but still it wont boot from the cd ... i hav a question thoh ... i havnt downloaded the yellow dog linux iso images till now .. i thot i would do that after i try booting my laptop with a fedora core2 iso image cd .. does the cd need to be in a "mac iso boot" format for the mac laptop to boot from the cd?

Is there any other way in which i can install Linux on my laptop? I would really appreciate any suggestions.

Regards,
Bijoy.

if im remembering correctly that is an oldworld model, and thus won't
boot from CD.
