Indeed. This invalid memory access seems to come from
the openfirmware. Here is the welcome message when I
boot with alt+apple+o+f:

Apple PowerBook6,5 4.8.7f1 BootROM built on 09/23/04

What is your version?

It really looks like mine, expect maybe for the
"macosx=hd:4"... I will try to change that the
evening, but I don't think it will change anything...

I will try to update the OF... Can you tell me where I
can find it? and also some tools to proceed?

It's a bit scary actually...  ;-)
I hope I will not break anything!
