Re: Can't find hard disk on ibook G4 when use Yaboot as a Temporary Bootloader

I am not very much sure, but probably you should 

1. create a bootstrap-partition with mac-fdisk
2. install debian on a linux-filesystem-formated partition (not hfs+) but I
use gentoo (www.gentoo.org), could be working for debian..
3. read the parts of the gentoo-documentation (or a similar explanation for
debian), which explain how to partition and format your disk correctly.
