I am working on the driver of MPC8xx FEC Ethernet. The ethernet card is in 
promiscuous mode. And I am using the libpcap to capture the packets.

Here is the problem I found: I can't capture all the packets in the network 
and can only capture the packets sent to local host. 

And I have the following questions:
1. if the driver of FEC support 855t? When FEC driver is set to promiscuous 
mode., is it possible to set the FEC controller for 855t? And how can I 
modify the program?
2. if the driver in fec.c has the code for MAC address filtering?
3. if the hardware itself blocked the packets which are not sent to itself?
